Jeremy Wilson joins Wood Group board of directors
Jeremy Wilson was appointed to the board as a non-executive director in August 2011and is a member of the Nominations committee.
Jeremy has spent nearly 25 years in various management positions at J.P. Morgan including serving as the co-head of the global Natural Resources and Diversified Industrials group.
Dow Chemical selects Wood Group APM® gas turbine parts
Wood Group GTS has been awarded a contract estimated to be worth up to $3.5 million by Dow Chemical Company, USA to provide Advanced Parts Manufacture (APM®) hot gas path components for their ABB GT11D5 gas turbine at the Plaquemine Chemical Plant, Louisiana, USA.

Wood Group PSN awarded £500 million North Sea contracts by Talisman
Talisman Energy (UK) extended Wood Group PSN’s existing engineering & modifications services contract through 2012 and awarded a new five-year contract for operations & maintenance services on its 11 UK offshore assets and the Flotta Oil Terminal.
Wood Group to support GE Frame 7FA industrial gas turbines
Wood Group GTS has entered a strategic alliance with Pratt & Whitney Power Systems (PWPS) to jointly service the GE Frame 7FA industrial gas turbine aftermarket. Wood Group GTS has been granted an exclusive 10-year licence to sell and distribute PWPS-manufactured combustion hardware, hot gas path components and high-technology repair services.
$4million Frame 6B inspection completed for Origin Energy
Wood Group GTS has completed a major inspection contract with Origin Energy for a GE Frame 6B gas turbine at Roma Power Station in Queensland, Australia. Wood Group GTS provided manpower, sourcing and management of various sub-contract activities, as well as supplying outage consumables, APM® (Advanced Parts Manufacture) parts and compressor blades for the gas turbine.
Wood Group secures carbon sequestration concept study work from National Grid
Wood Group Kenny has been appointed by National Grid to perform study work in relation to development options to transport and inject carbon dioxide (CO2) into a prospective offshore saline aquifer storage location in the UK sector of the Southern North Sea. Wood Group Kenny and Wood Group Mustang will work as a combined project team to complete the design work.
Wood Group scores well in Carbon Disclosure Project
Wood Group participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project this year, scoring highest among the 37 first-time participants and sixth in the energy sector. UK-based Wood Group companies from all three divisions participated in the project; Wood Group businesses around the world that have focused on carbon management have improved efficiency and reduced energy costs. The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is an independent not-for-profit organisation holding the largest database of primary corporate climate change and water information in the world.
