Mustang conducts FEED for Jack & St. Malo

Mustang is performing front-end engineering design for the topsides of Chevron’s Jack & St. Malo floating semi-submersible production facility, to be located in approximately 7,000 feet of water in the Gulf of Mexico. Jack & St. Malo will have an initial nameplate capacity of 120,000 to 150,000 BOPD, 37.5 MMscf/D gas, and provisions for a future 200,000 BPD water injection.

Two Australian companies join Wood Group family

Wood Group recently acquired Proteus Global Solutions, an independent Perth-based provider of commissioning, operations support and engineering services, and 51% of RANms, a Darwin-based provider of operations support services to the oil & gas industry. The acquisitions represent further expansion of Wood Group’s footprint in Australia.

GTS to support GE Frame 6B

Gas Turbine Services has been awarded a six-year term maintenance agreement by BASF Schwarzheide to provide parts, repairs, field services and risk management for two GE Frame 6B gas turbine generator packages located in Schwarzheide, Germany.

Cinzia De Santis joined Wood Group as the new Group head of HSE. Cinzia brings 27 years of experience in the oil & gas business, including serving in all aspects of HSE management with PDVSA and BP, latterly in a global role with BP as director of Safety Culture and Leadership.

Mustang makes refining complex greener

Mustang successfully completed a low-sulfur gasoline project at Placid Refining Company’s refinery in Port Allen, Louisiana. Mustang provided the engineering, design, procurement and construction management for the grassroots 20,000 BPD FCC gasoline hydrotreater to make low-sulfur gasoline, which will enable the refinery to meet clean fuel standards for its products.

Logging for deepwater Gulf of Mexico wells

Wood Group Logging Services’ newest deepwater logging skid unit has the capability of servicing wells with depths greater than 35,000 feet and pressure of up to 30,000 psi.
