Fast-track power project in Texas

Following our successful dismantling and relocation of gas turbine equipment from an existing plant to installation in the Newman Generating Station operated by El Paso Electric, we have won a new turnkey contract worth approximately US$26 million. For the fast-track expansion of the Texas-based plant, we will construct and commission Phase 1. The plant, expected to start up operations in May 2009, will have a capacity of approximately 150MW to meet the growing demand of El Paso Electric's customers.

Generating power in the United Arab Emirates

In the United Arab Emirates, we have won a $2.75million turnkey contract for the Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority's Layyah Power Station. We will be improving the reliability and availability of generator sets, which are designed to provide power generation in the event of a main generating grid failure.
