Growing our business in Brazil
In Brazil, our operations are expanding following a series of contracts we have won for work on the Peregrino field in the Campos Basin.
With the award of a US $8million contract, Deepwater Specialists, Inc.(DSI), our commissioning specialist, will be providing commissioning services for two drilling and wellhead platforms that are already being designed by Mustang Engineering (Mustang), a subsidiary of Wood Group. Mustang is providing engineering and procurement services to Kiewit Offshore Services for the Peregrino field development.
Each platform comprises an eight-legged jacket structure, foundation piles, well slot conductors, deck structure, equipment & systems, and wellhead decks, including cranes.
Mustang is designing the facilities to achieve optimum performance with a floating production, storage and offloading vessel, which is designed for processing 100,000 BPD oil with a storage capacity of 1.6 million barrels of oil.
When completed, platforms will be installed in water depths of 312 – 443 feet (95 – 135 meters), approximately 53 miles offshore Brazil.
