Launch of new drive for oilfield pumps
In the US, we have developed a new Vector® drive, designed specifically for oilfield pumping applications. Designed to enhance well operations, the Vector® VII drive incorporates a high resolution graphics display adapted for bright light conditions and software that integrates operating information, downhole well parameters and graphical data on a single screen.
1,000th unit milestone in Russia
At our West Siberian service centre for electric submersible pump units (ESPs) in Nizhnevartovsk, our 200-strong team of local engineers and technicians has now repaired more than 1,000 ESP units and reinstalled them in the Samotlor oilfield. Since winning an order in 2002 for 40 ESP units, we have been strengthening our long-term co-operation with TNK-BP.
